It took me a little while but I finally will be starting the new book in the Murderbot Diaries series by Martha Wells. It's called Fugitive Telemetry and holy mother of combat bots, that cover looks fecking sweeeeet! Combat bots don't have mothers, just a figure of speech, beg pardon.
I've had it for a while, but I needed to finish a really good book about the human UFO experience by Ryan Sprague, called Somewhere in the Skies: A Human Approach to the UFO Phenomenon. Very good book on the delicate subject of listening and respecting the human experience of witnessing unidentified aerial phenomena. Perhaps I'll review that book at a later time. I'm needing to digest it since I've revisited coming to terms with my own UAP experience. Anyway... I've been wanting to dig my eyeballs into this book for awhile. I pre-ordered it as soon as it was announced. It's a prequel to the incidents that happened prior to the last book, Network Effect. That's a little sad for me because I was really hoping that this book would be a sequel to Network Effect, because I enjoy the banter between Murderbot and ART (Asshole Research Transport). Nevertheless, it's a Murderbot Diaries book and there is a 100% chance that I will like it, based on my reverence for the other books in the series. Can not wait. MurderbotFuckYeah!
